Welcome to Dance & Gym! We are excited to begin another year with all of you.

Mission Statement: At D&G, our goal is to teach our students life skills through Dance and Acro all while instilling a love for the arts and increasing self confidence. We specialize in educating their minds, bodies, and souls with age-appropriate costuming & choreography in a fun, faith-filled environment. D&G…there is a difference!

Our Dance and Gym staff continue education classes in both Dance & Acro, and we have exciting new material to share this year! We hope it gives you peace of mind knowing your child is being instructed by Qualified & Certified Teachers of Dance Masters of America & Acro Dance Teachers Association in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop & Acro. Mrs. Misty also holds a Choreographer degree focused on Classical Ballet from ULL & Mrs. V is also an ACRO DANCE COMPETITION JUDGE. STUDIO POLICY- ALL STUDENTS registered with Dance & Gym are not allowed to be registered with another Dance/Acro school unless it is for something we do not teach. It is unfair that credit for our students’ progress be given to another instructor.

DANCE & GYM UNIFORMS - must be purchased through D & G. Your child must be present to try on shoes and uniforms. Shoe & Uniform Days are August 5th-7th, 2023 at Dance & Gym.

2yrs old thru Pre-K… Leotard - $30, Pink Tights - $15, Pink Ballet Shoes - $30, Tan Jazz Shoes - $45
Kindergarten & 1st grade… Leotard $30 & Leggings $40, Pink Ballet Shoes - $30, Tan Jazz Shoes - $45
2nd thru 11th grade… Choice of Leotard $30 or Tank Top $35 & leggings $40, Tan Lyrical Soles - $40, Tan Jazz Shoes - $45

CLASSES BEGIN SUNDAY, AUGUST 20, 2023. Please follow your class confirmation email for your child’s class day and time. Students may wear shorts, shirts, and any style/color dancewear. If your child arrives in flip-flops, tennis shoes, etc. please label each with their name. We are expecting all shoe/uniform orders to arrive mid-September. Final class confirmations were emailed today… Classes are based primarily on grade level; however, the instructor reserves the right to move individual students according to their skill level. We want students to have fun and be with their friends as much as possible, but we also want the class skill level to be equivalent to enable all students to learn at a similar pace. Class placement is not final until costumes are ordered.

After our first month, schedules may be adjusted in order to maximize instructional time for your child.

BAND APP You will be receiving an email inviting you to your child’s class band app page in September. Please accept and join the group for reminders, updates, etc. ***COMPANY AND SENIOR COMPANY MEMBERS are allowed to be included in their Band App. Once parents receive the invite, please request that your child be added.

PAYMENTS AUGUST TUITION is due on the first day of your child's class. If you did not receive your account spreadsheet, please let us know. Tuition may be paid with CHECK, CASH, OR MONEY ORDER. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS, DEBIT CARDS, Venmo, nor PayPal. ***Receive a 5% discount on tuition paid in full for the 23/24 Season by August 31st.***

All payments made to Dance & Gym are not refundable.

Please include your child's name with ALL PAYMENTS.

A staff member will be available on Sundays from 4:00 P.M - 6:30 P.M. and Monday - Thursday from 4:15 P.M. - 6:15 P.M. to write receipts for cash payments. If you do not need a receipt, you can have your child put payments in the black box on the kitchen counter.

CASH PAYMENTS - D & G PERSONALIZED RECEIPT BOOK When you receive a receipt, we also have a copy. ALWAYS GET A RECEIPT FOR CASH PAYMENTS & KEEP IT. If there is a discrepancy in payment records, you will be asked to produce your receipt to compare to ours.

DROP OFF/PICK UP Do not drop off kids until 10 minutes before class times. Students must be picked up promptly at the end of class. If the door is not open, ring the bell. Please make sure your child is inside of the building before you leave.

**FULL TUITION IS CHARGED EACH MONTH August thru May whether or not your child attends class. Extra classes are given throughout the year to make up for Holidays, Closure due to inclement weather, short months, etc….
